Description
The MPSG is designed to work inside your home or business providing clean, pure sine electricity if the power goes off. If the electricity fails the MPSG takes over instantly, providing uninterrupted power to your electronics. USB and direct 12v outlets can be used as a power bank even when the main machine is off.
A built-in MPPT solar controller can also provide power away from the grid. Ideal for remote locations, smallholdings, farms or camping trips but not solely an off-grid system.
A solar panel is not required to run the power station but can be added at any time to extend battery life.
The MPSG range has a built in Lithium Ion Battery and can either be:
- Charged from a standard wall socket
- Connected to a solar panel
- Or plugged into a wall socket and solar panel at the same time
Lithium batteries have a longer lifespan than lead acid batteries.
The MPSG-500 would run an average modern LCD TV (100W), low energy lamp (10W) and wi-fi router (10W). The more you plug in the shorter the run time. The power used by any appliance can easily be measured by using our Watt Meter.

24V Battery Balancer / Equaliser for lithium battery

A balancer monitors voltage between batteries wired in series. If voltage deviates then the higher voltage battery will discharge to the lower voltage battery until they are equal.
A 24v Balancer is recommended when installing 2 x 12v batteries in series (24v). A balancer is not needed for batteries in parallel.
